How faceoffs work
Rink of the Year runs at the end of the season: the 16 rinks skaters reported on most are seeded into a bracket, and each matchup is open for a few days. The daily faceoff pairs two rinks that got ice reports in the last three days. Votes are saved — one per person per matchup (one per connection if you aren't signed in) — and the results you see are the real counts.
