For rink operators
Keep your skaters in the loop
LocalFaceoff shows every skater in town whether your ice is good right now. If you run a rink — City staff, a volunteer flooder or a community association — claim it and post the status yourself. It's free, and there's nothing to buy.
What you get
Claim your rink
Send a claim with your role (operator, warden or community association). We check it by hand and link the rink to your account.
One-tap status
Open, flooded tonight, closed for rain, closed for the season — your update outweighs skater reports (×3) and shows on the rink page right away.
Followers get told
Skaters who follow the rink get a push or email when you mark it open or flooded. Your dashboard shows the real follower count.
QR signs
Print a bilingual sign for the gate or change hut. Scanning it opens the 10-second ice report for your rink; we count reports that came from the sign.
Real numbers only
Your dashboard shows ice reports (all time and this season), check-ins this season, followers and the last report time. Nothing estimated, nothing invented.
What we don't do
No paid placement, no sponsored rankings and no hiding bad reports: the ice score follows the published method for every rink, claimed or not.
